Student Conductors Debut Skills with WSC Bands

Ten Wayne State College students debut their conducting skills during a Conductors’ Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 7. The 7:30 p.m. performance features the WSC Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. This will be a livestream only event on Facebook.

Repertoire features selections by student conductors Haley Richstein of Bellevue, Neb.; Dalton Rath of Randolph, Neb.; Dalton Hazel of Papillion, Neb.; Kelsy Moeller and Tresten Schwarz of Wayne, Neb.; Sydney Auman of Lincoln, Neb.; Colson Watchorn Newbrey of Ponca, Neb.; Kylie Hascall of Columbus, Neb.; Dusty Butler of Alda, Neb.; and Kiernan Baker of Seward, Neb. Students gain hands-on experience under the guidance of Dr. Josh Calkin, WSC Director of Bands.
