Summer Music Camp 2026 Open for Registration

The camp will be held June 22-25. Registration is open through June 11.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Wayne State College Summer Music Camp, which is set for June 22-25 in the Peterson Fine Arts Building.

This four-day, fun-filled event empowers campers to make music while improving fundamental musical competency. Campers learn new skills and hone existing skills while interacting with others who love music.

Camp highlights include participation in band, choir, and jazz ensembles; classes in music technology, All-State Choir prep, ukulele, songwriting, and the history of rock and roll; social activities; and private lessons.

Last year’s campers shared these comments about their experience: “The best part of a musician’s summer.” “One of my favorite life experiences ever.” “A fun, exciting music experience for all ages.” “Very joyful and educational experience.”

Camp costs $370 ($350 + $20 fee), including room and board, and $318 ($300 + $18 fee) for commuting students. Participation is open to students who’ve completed grades 5-12. Registration is open through 11:59 p.m. June 11.
