Spring 2026 Senior Art Exhibit Opens March 25

"Entangled" features nine art students. The show will run through April 22.

“Entangled,” Wayne State College’s Spring 2026 Senior Art Exhibit, opens Wednesday, March 25, with a 4:30 p.m. reception in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery, located on the main level of U.S. Conn Library. The exhibit is free and open to the public through April 22.

Inspired by the human experience and societal interaction, “Entangled” features artwork by nine Wayne State seniors.

Students majoring in Studio Art participating in the show are Alexandra Splittgerber of Kearney, Neb.; Elise White of Sioux City, Iowa; Prim S. of Omaha, Neb.; and Adrian Huff of Yankton, S.D.

Students majoring in Education participating in the show are Brooke Daughenbaugh of Logan, Iowa; Jazmyne Roach of Blair, Neb.; Perla Ramirez Castillo of Grand Island, Neb.; Ruby Golyar of Omaha, Neb.; and Destynni Hendrickson of St. Edward, Neb.

“Entangled” reflects the artists’ individuality and interconnectedness. This eclectic curation employs artistic techniques of sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, ink drawing, and digital painting.

The gallery is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 3 to 7 p.m. It is closed on Saturday. Shows end at noon on closing day.
