NSR Completes Second Week for 2025

The purpose of the NSR program is to provide students with a smooth transition to college.

Wayne State College finished a second week of its New Student Registration (NSR) program June 6 for students who are ready to enroll in classes for the Fall 2025 semester.

The purpose of the NSR program is to provide students with a smooth transition to college. All first-time freshmen are required to attend a NSR program in order to register for fall classes.

The program begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at approximately 3 p.m. Throughout the day, students can expect to meet an advisor and register for fall classes; hear from different speakers about academic preparedness, the billing and payment process, and services available at Wayne State; enjoy lunch; visit with staff from a variety of offices and departments; and meet other members of the Wayne State Class of 2029.

Various dates for the program run through Friday, Aug. 1, with fall semester classes beginning Monday, Aug. 18.
