Fall 2025 Community of Learning Cohorts Forming for Norfolk, South Sioux City

The program is designed for licensed PK-16 teachers and education professionals to pursue an MSE in Curriculum and Instruction - Instructional Leadership in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Wayne State College is forming Community of Learning cohorts in Norfolk and South Sioux City for the Fall 2025 semester. This is an invitation for licensed PK-16 teachers and education professionals to pursue a Master of Science in Education (MSE) degree (Curriculum and Instruction – Instructional Leadership) in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This hybrid, two-year program offers an affordable and convenient pathway to an MSE, requiring just five Saturday classroom sessions per semester. Through this accredited, research-based model, participants will drive their professional growth, refine their teaching practice, and make a greater impact on students' lives.

The benefits for joining a Community of Learning include earning an MSE in just two years; learning in a hybrid format that provides minimal on-campus time (five Saturdays/semester); engaging in collaborative learning with fellow educators from diverse backgrounds; focusing on individualized professional development and unique challenges; applying evidence-based practices through action research; and enjoying a convenient, affordable, and fully accredited program.

Individuals who value shared professional growth will thrive in this setting. The registration deadline is June 30.
