
High school and college students toured WSC facilities and participated in workshops during the day. Films were screened in the evening.
Several high school and college filmmakers took home awards from the 7th annual Wayne State College Wildcat Spirit Film Festival held April 16. The festival was hosted by the Wayne State Film Production and Theory Program.

During the day, participating students toured the Wayne State film studios and engaged in workshops. Prior to the festival, high schools and colleges from Nebraska, Iowa, and South Dakota submitted films for review. Categories included narrative, comedy, documentary, and science fiction/fantasy. Officially selected high school and college films were screened in the afternoon.
A red-carpet event culminated the all-day festivities with Hot Attic Film Studios screenings at The Majestic Theatre in downtown Wayne. The films were written, produced, and directed by Wayne State students.
