The Juried Art Show opened April 23 and is open through summer.
Five Wayne State College art and design students won awards, and four others received honorable mention awards, during the opening of the Spring 2025 Juried Art Show held April 23 in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery, located on the main level of Conn Library on campus. The exhibit will remain on display throughout the summer.

Prior to the show, students from Wayne State’s Department of Art and Design submitted original artwork for exhibit consideration. Pieces were then judged and selected for display by Derrick Burbul, professor of photography at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The gallery is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 3 to 7 p.m. It is closed on Saturday. Shows end at noon on closing day.
