Wayne State College’s Spring 2025 Juried Art Show opens Wednesday, April 23, with a reception at 4:30 p.m. in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery, located on the main level of Conn Library on campus. The opening reception is free and open to the public, and the exhibit will remain on display through the summer.
Prior to the show, students from Wayne State’s Department of Art and Design submitted original artwork for exhibit consideration. Pieces were then judged and selected for display by Derrick Burbul, professor of photography at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
The gallery is open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 3 to 7 p.m. It is closed Saturday. Shows end at noon on closing day.
