Late Start for Classes March 19, 2025

Due to the forecasted high winds and snow, the College will have a late start at 10 a.m. March 19. All classes will begin at 10 a.m.

Due to the forecasted high winds and snow, the College will have a late start at 10 a.m. March 19.  All classes will begin at 10 a.m. The Student Center and Upper Dining will open at 10 a.m. and Cat’s Corner (Qdoba, Craves, Pizza, and Starbucks) in the lower level will open at 11:30 a.m. March 19 and remain open until their normal closing times.

The Rec Center, Conn Library, and Einstein's will open at 10 a.m. March 19 unless otherwise communicated at a later time.

Employees who are currently scheduled to work during hours the campus is closed will not be required to use vacation or other paid leave time to cover this absence from work. The leave is categorized as paid, administrative leave. Normal procedures for reporting this administrative leave and hours worked will be followed. Administrative leave does not apply to students or temporary employees.

Employees who are required to remain at work for emergency or other essential services will be allowed an equal number of hours off on an alternate date mutually agreed upon by the supervisor and the employee. Supervisors will notify employees no later than 5:30 a.m. March 19 if they are required to report to work during the closure period to provide such services.
