Written by Sarah Ruhl, “Eurydice” recounts the classic Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice from the heroine’s perspective. The plot weaves Eurydice’s untimely death on her wedding day with her longing for her dead father, the yearning of separated lovers, and the desire to soothe suffering. Laced with love, sacrifice, and hope, the tragedy is sewn together by the power of language. “Eurydice” runs about 90 minutes. “Eurydice” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.
