Philosophy Minor

Philosophy studies the big questions in life. It also provides the tools you need to answer those questions and have a successful career and more fulfilling life. Many important questions about a discipline are philosophical, and studying philosophy can help you understand your discipline better. Philosophy also emphasizes the transferable skills that will help you get ahead in any occupation, cope with change in your field, and even move into a new career. What’s more, Philosophy students routinely outperform nearly all other majors on the LSAT, GRE, and GMAT. Taking coursework in the minor can help you get the score you need for entrance into graduate or professional school. No matter what your major, a minor in Philosophy can help get you where you want to be.
