Musicology is the scholarly study of music. In this minor, you’ll not only learn the basics and fundamentals of music, but you’ll also study music within cultural, location, and historical contexts. You may even choose to specialize in certain genres. This program allows students to explore music without the advanced requirement of solo performance, but you may still opt to perform with small or large ensembles.
