A History minor is the perfect complement to any major. Students with a History minor have a broad awareness of the global context within which we all live and work, along with a nuanced understanding of the forces and people who shaped our past and future. A minor in History tells employers that you’re intellectually curious and able to view problems from multiple perspectives. Because history gives you a broad, solid foundation, your career opportunities are countless. Through coursework in the minor, you’ll enhance your critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills - skills that are highly valued by employers in many occupations across a variety of industries.
