Video is ubiquitous in the media today, from promotional clips and commercials, to narrative films and movies. The Digital Film Production minor provides skills in film production and on-camera performance needed by students who want to work in electronic media. For students majoring in Communication, the Digital Film Production minor will provide you more experience with cinematic production aspects taught in our current theatre courses, such as acting and directing, lighting, set design, etc. For students not majoring in Communication, it will provide you an excellent foundation in media production, pre-production, on-camera performance, and related skills. This minor pairs well with other disciplines requiring video production for entertainment, promotion, and training.
