Robert "Eric" Colvard

Dr. Eric Colvard is a professor of history at Wayne State College. He is also the co-advisor for Phi Alpha Theta (the history honors society) and serves as president on both the Student Admissions and Retention Committee and for the President’s Council on Diversity.  

Dr. Colvard is a Fulbright Scholar and member of the North American Conference on British Studies.

Academic Interests
Dr. Colvard’s interests include Colonial South Asia, the British Empire, and globalization. His current research focus is the connection between the global temperance movement and Indian Nationalism.
