Special Education Graduate-Level Endorsement

The Special Education subject endorsement program is for the following graduate students:

  • Those with a current teaching certificate in an area other than Special Education who want to add a Special Education subject endorsement at either the K-6 and/or 7-12 level
  • Those with a current teaching certificate in Special Education (K-6 or 7-12) who want to add the other subject endorsement level.

This endorsement option does not lead to a Master of Science in Education and can include undergraduate coursework as approved by an advisor. The total credit hours vary based on your current level of certification and the level of Special Education subject endorsement desired.
