Exit Loan Counseling for Financial Aid

The video below shows the required steps to complete exit loan counseling to receive financial aid (FAFSA).

  1. Log in to studentaid.gov and select "Log in to start."
  2. After you've logged in, certify your contact information and view your student loan amount.
  3. You will learn about interest accrual and capitalization, your roles and responsibilities for paying back loans, and you'll enter information to compare repayment strategies, plans, and student loan consolidation.
  4. Review your summary and select "finish" to complete the exit counseling.
