The Campus Services Building is located at the northeast corner of campus, across from main entrance of Providence Medical Center. The building houses Wayne State’s Campus Security, Facilities Services, and the Network and Technology Services departments.
Campus Security
WSC Campus Security ensures a safe learning, working, and living environment for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, we enlist the help of all campus community members through community policing. There are also many on- and off-campus resources available to you in Wayne, including for alcohol and drug dependency, sexual assault, crisis counseling, and more.
Facility Services
Facility Services oversees multiple departments that are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of all campus buildings and facilities (electrical, engineering, custodial, carpentry, painting, HVAC systems, etc.), 128 acres of campus grounds (Arboretum, lawn care, groundwater maintenance, snow removal, etc.), and all campus vehicles (fleet management and vehicle upkeep).
Central Supply Store
In addition to servicing all buildings, grounds, and vehicles, Facility Services also oversees the Central Supply Store, which provides an easy way for faculty and staff to order needed office supplies. Orders can be placed online through myWSC.
Network and Technology Services (NATS)
Network and Technology Services (NATS) is the IT service organization for Wayne State College.
NATS is responsible for the purchase, installation, and technical support for computer hardware and labs, software applications, campus network, email, internet, printing, copying, classroom technology, phone systems, and fax machines.
Service Center
NATS also offers tech support of personal computers for all students living on and off campus, as well as faculty and staff. NATS provides tech support through the Service Center, a technology help desk located on the main floor of the library.
