Join us for a vibrant celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month where culture, creativity, and community come together. Students will explore the history and significance of Hispanic Heritage Month through a large informational display highlighting key contributions, traditions, and stories from Hispanic and Latino communities. Alongside the exhibit, participants can create their own papel picado, the colorful decorative art used across Latin America to honor celebrations, identity, and heritage.
This hands-on workshop offers a space to learn, connect, and express creativity while appreciating the cultural meaning behind papel picado. Whether you want to craft, learn, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, everyone is welcome to participate and celebrate the richness of Hispanic culture.
