A movie to generate alcohol use awareness and healthy decision-making, hosted by the Student Health and Counseling Office. Open to the community.
Join us for a free community screening of "The Spectacular Now," followed by a conversation focused on alcohol awareness and healthy decision-making. Through the experiences portrayed in the film, we’ll explore how alcohol can influence relationships, emotional well-being, academic and personal goals, and the choices we make during young adulthood.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Movie begins at 7 p.m. Concessions available at the theater.
Following the movie, attendees will be invited to participate in an open, judgment-free discussion about recognizing risky patterns, understanding the impact of alcohol, supporting friends and peers, and making informed choices that align with personal goals and values.
This event is designed especially with college students and young adults in mind, but everyone is welcome.
Free admission and open to the community.
