Donations of hats, coats, and mittens will be collected Nov. 9-20, including at the basketball games Nov. 9.
The Professional Staff Senate and Business Communication students are hosting a drive to collect new or gently used coats and jackets, and new hats, mittens, and gloves for those in need. We will collect them and distribute them to agencies that serve those in need this winter.
The drive kicks off at the men's and women's basketball games from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in Rice Auditorium. Donors at this event will receive free popcorn courtesy of Fresh Ideas.
Donation boxes will be located on and off campus at:
- Student Financial Services in the Hahn Administration Building
- Rooms 122 and 242F in Conn Library
- Residence Life Office in the Student Center
- Administration offices in the Wellness Center
- Dollar General West
- Dollar General East
- HIS Baking Co.
- Prairie Park Apartments
- Pac N Save
Donations will be given to:
- First Presbyterian Coat Closet
- Micah's Closet
- Head Start Program
- WSC Student Food Pantry
