Campus groups are invited to set up a decorated tree in the Student Center for the 25th annual Festival of Trees, benefiting Gifts for Kids and Wayne County families.
Celebrate 25 years of the Festival of Trees with Pi Gamma Mu and the WSC Student Senate! From Nov. 9 through Dec. 4, campus groups are invited to decorate a themed Christmas tree for display in the Kanter Student Center Atrium.
Clubs, departments, residence hall floors, offices, athletic teams, classes, individuals and other campus groups are welcome to participate. The donation is $12 if you provide your own tree or $20 to borrow a tree from Student Senate. Loaner trees are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional donations are also welcome.
All donations benefit Gifts for Kids, which provides clothing and toys for Wayne County families who may otherwise be unable to afford them during the holiday season.
Award certificates will be presented in several categories, including Best in Show for the overall winning tree.
