About Wayne State’s online master’s in Public Relations Management
Wayne State College’s Master of Science in Organizational Management (MSOM) with a focus in Public Relations Management prepares students to lead communications for businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. The 36-credit-hour program is fully online and requires no campus visits or entrance exams.
Students combine organizational management coursework with hands-on practice in public relations. They create social media content, develop and evaluate media plans for advertising and branding, and study how leaders respond to organizational change, conflict, and crises. To complete the degree, students choose a thesis, scholarly project, or internship, giving them a way to apply their coursework to a research question or professional goal.
