A Best College of Distinction, 2026-27

Wayne State College was named a Best College of Distinction for the 2026-27 academic year. Wayne State was one of only four colleges and universities in Nebraska to receive this distinction and one of only two public institutions recognized, alongside the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
