Wayne State College accepts applications on a continuous basis for a pool of qualified adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate courses across a variety of disciplines.
The number of positions varies each semester based on the instructional needs of the College. Academic departments review the adjunct pool when teaching needs arise.
Teaching assignments may include day, evening, off-campus, online, hybrid, or blended courses. Appointments may be renewable based on institutional need, funding, and performance.
Compensation
$1,000 per credit hour
Required qualifications
The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) requires a master’s degree in the area of specialization, or a master’s degree in another field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
