About Dr. Bohnert
David Bohnert has served as the Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities since 2021, where he is also responsible for directing the Honors program and Interdisciplinary Studies. Prior to this appointment, he served as chair of the Department of Music, professor of music, and Director of Bands for 25 years at WSC. An active performer and clinician, Bohnert has presented performances and clinics around the globe and enjoys working with musicians at all levels. Bohnert was selected for the State National Bank Teaching Excellence Award in 2011.
