Lisa Wanek, Ph.D.
Professor
Dr. Lisa Wanek is a criminal justice professor at Wayne State College. Before teaching at WSC, Wanek volunteered with adolescents at the Boys and Girls Club and the 4-H Youth Development Programs while completing her college degrees. She also taught classes at Iowa State University and Iowa Western Community College.
Wanek's research interests include bullying and victimization, especially parenting practices, and child behavior and treatment. Her teaching interests are bullying in American schools, family violence, and criminology.
