Dr. Lori Nicholson is a computer technology professor at Wayne State College. Nicholson embarked on her academic journey in 1999 at Wayne State College before pursuing her Ph.D. in Computer Science at Nova Southeastern University, specializing in quantum algorithms. Prior to academia, she made contributions to the field, including the development of K-12 educational software during the dot-com era, as well as designing medical information systems and managing network operations in medical facilities across Alaska and Nebraska.

Nicholson's academic interests include data structures, computer graphics, and computer architecture.
