Wayne State College’s Criminal Justice degree prepares students for careers in law enforcement, corrections, probation and parole, criminal investigations, forensics, court services, homeland security, and private and corporate security.
Students develop knowledge of criminal law and procedure, policing, corrections, criminology, juvenile justice, and the causes and prevention of crime while building skills in critical thinking, communication, and ethical decision-making. Applied learning opportunities, including internships, community engagement, and hands-on experiences, help students connect classroom study with careers in the criminal justice field.
Wayne State offers B.A. and B.S. options in Criminal Justice, with the program available both on campus and online.
