Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)

Student chapter of AGC designed to enhance learning experiences in the field of construction

 

The purpose of  the Associated General Contractors Student Chapter will be to focus on the construction industry with goals of furthering the members’ knowledge of the industry, interacting and communicating with the business world, building a spirit of teamwork among the diverse members, enhancing the community at large and developing leadership and organizational skills of the members.

Some AGC student chapter activities include:

  • Campus construction and other service projects
  • Chapter meetings with special presentations and gues speakers
  • Field trips to construction projects and site tours
  • Organization of student employment program
  • Social and networking activities
  • Attendance at AGC's annual convention
  • Environmental clean-up programs

Eligibility:
Active members shall be students of Wayne State College with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
