The American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) is an organization for students who are pursuing a career in the safety, health, and environmental fields. It seeks to provide additional opportunities for students to learn more about their chosen area of study, as well as promote interaction between students and safety professionals.
Eligibility:
Any student at the Wayne State College campus where the club membership is filed may be a member of the Wayne State College chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals, provided that he or she is enrolled in at least 6 semester hours of college credit.
