Steve Zelinsky

Steve Zelinsky was a four-year letter winner for the Wayne State football team from 1978 to 1981. He was a three-time All-CSIC offensive lineman and was NAIA All-District 11 First Team as a senior. He currently resides in Chesterfield, Mo., where he has won numerous awards in the restaurant industry, including several Vendor of the Year in a chain of 350 stores. He has coached youth football in Chesterfield for the past seven years and also coached baseball for another seven years. Zelinsky and his wife Cindy, a standout softball pitcher at Wayne State from 1979 to 1982, were inducted together into the Wayne State College Athletic Hall of Fame on Sept. 28, 2013.
