Pat Donohoe was a standout football player at Wayne State College from 1972 to 1975. Donohoe was a First Team NAIA All-American in 1975 and was a three-time defensive MVP at Wayne State. Donohoe had 40 solo tackles and 75 assists during his senior season, leading the Cats in quarterback sacks with eight from his middle guard position. A four-year letter winner, Donohoe was a two-time All-District player and a four-year starter. A native of O'Neill, Neb., Donohoe went on to be a recruiting coordinator for the University of Houston. Donohoe was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame on Oct. 3, 1987.
