Mike Wynn was a 1972 graduate of Wayne State College and a three-year starter for the football team under Coach Del Stoltenberg from 1968 to 1972. He was a tri-captain and started on offense and defense during his senior season. He was also named All-Conference. Wynn, a native of Grand Island, Neb., was also a Sports Management instructor in the HPLS division at Wayne State in the 1990s before leaving for Northwood University in Michigan. Wynn was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame in the fall of 1993.
