John (Jersey) Jermier compiled a 37-24 record (.607 winning percentage) as head football coach at Wayne State College from 1962-1968. His five winning seasons are the most of any football coach in WSC history. Only losing season was a 4-5 record in 1963. John (Jersey) Jermier's coaching record at WSC: 1962: 5-3; 1963: 4-5; 1964: 6-2; 1965: 6-4; 1966: 6-2; 1967: 6-4; 1968: 4-4; total: 37 wins, 24 losses. Jermier was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame in the fall of 1990.
