Carter 'Cap' Peterson

Carter "Cap" Peterson is a 1972 graduate of Wayne State College and serves on the Wayne State College Foundation Executive Board and the Nebraska State College System Board of Trustees. He taught and coached at Winside High School in the early 1970s and then entered the insurance business in 1979. At the time of this writing, he serves as President of Northeast Nebraska Insurance Agency in Wayne. Peterson was named the 2005 National Professional Insurance Agent of the Year. Peterson was inducted into the WSC Athletics Hall of Fame's Hall of Contributions on Oct. 7, 2006.
