Wayne State College in Your Community

Wayne State College proudly delivers education opportunities straight to your region. You can earn one of several degrees from WSC while remaining in your community for work, family, or both. Learn more about your options to complete your degree, take courses with a WSC partner in your community, or earn an online degree.

Unique Programs and Partnerships

Wayne State is home to several unique learning experiences. The Career Scholars Program provides a generous scholarship package with real work experience for college credit. The Northeast Nebraska Teachers Academy (NENTA) allows you to substitute teach while still earning your degree. And, we partner with the University of Nebraska Medical Center for our Rural Health Opportunities (RHOP) and the Public Health Early Admissions Student Track (PHEAST) health programs. We also partner with the University of Nebraska for our Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP).

Study Abroad

Beyond the Classroom

The best way to learn about the world is to get out into it. Our Service-Learning program integrates classroom learning with civic engagement. Exciting global adventures await in several study abroad opportunities, including programs in Greece, Costa Rica, and Ecuador. Challenge yourself in your program of study by participating in the Honors Program. The Dean's Ambassadors represent WSC and aid in the community, specifically in the fields of health, law, and engineering.
