Unique Programs and Partnerships

Wayne State is home to several unique learning experiences. The Honors Program offers special opportunities and challenges within your major. The Northeast Nebraska Teachers Academy (NENTA) program provides unique hands-on teaching experience. We partner with the University of Nebraska Medical Center for our Rural Health Opportunities (RHOP) and the Public Health Early Admissions Student Track (PHEAST) health programs. We also partner with the University of Nebraska for our Rural Law Opportunities Program (RLOP).

Study Abroad

Beyond the Classroom

The best way to learn about the world is to get out into it. Our robust Service-Learning program integrates classroom learning with civic engagement. It provides an outlet for our students to apply what they learn in our local communities. Exciting global adventures await in several study abroad opportunities, including programs in Greece, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.
