M365 (Office 365)

Wayne State College invites you to use M365 on your computers, tables, and smartphones. M365 Student Advantage is a subscription that WSC purchased that includes an online version and the latest desktop version of the Microsoft suite. To install M365 on a campus computer, use the Software Center if it's not already installed. M365 is online version of Office where you will go to install Office on a personal device. Each person will be able to install and use Office on 5 personal devices.

The agreement with Microsoft requires an active affiliation with Wayne State College. In other words you must be a current employee or active student enrolled in classes to be eligible for M365 Student Advantage through Wayne State College. You must also connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify that you are still eligible for the program. When you are no longer employed at Wayne State College, graduate or are not enrolled in class, you will lose your license and all access to M365. When the license expires, you will retain read-only access to Office files and will be able to purchase other consumer or commercial offers through Microsoft.

Before you install Office on a personal device, you must uninstall any previous versions of Microsoft Office, including 2007, 2010, 2013, and/or 2016. For information click here. To install M365, use the corresponding help sheet below.
