Wayne State College invites you to use Office 365 (O365) and Office 2016 on your computers, tables, and smartphones. O365 Student Advantage is a subscription that WSC purchased that includes an online version and the latest desktop version of the Microsoft suite. Office 2016 is the latest desktop version of the Microsoft suite. To install Office 2016 on a campus computer, use the Software Center. O365 is online version of Office 365 where you will go to install Office 2016 on a personal device. Each person will be able to install and use Office 2016 on 5 personal devices.

The agreement with Microsoft requires an active affiliation with Wayne State College. In other words you must be a current employee or active student enrolled in classes to be eligible for O365 Student Advantage through Wayne State College. You must also connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify that you are still eligible for the program. When you are no longer employed at Wayne State College, graduate or are not enrolled in class, you will lose your license and all access to Office 365. When the license expires, you will retain read-only access to Office files and will be able to purchase other consumer or commercial offers through Microsoft.

O365 includes all current programs available with Office 2013 (with updates, of course) plus One Drive and Outlook. One Drive and Outlook are not currently available for all WSC users. Even though Outlook will be installed with the Office 2016 suite, Outlook is not currently supported by our email system. NATS is currently working on implementing One Drive and Outlook. Please watch for upcoming announcements about One Drive and Outlook.
