M365 FAQs
What devices can I install Office 365 on?
PC: Supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Access, and OneDrive. Windows 7 or later required.
Mac: Supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, and OneDrive. macOS 10.10 or later required.
iOS: Supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, OneDrive, and Lens. Latest verison of iOS suggested.
Android: Supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, OneDrive, and Lens. Office for Android can be installed on tablets and phones running Android KitKat 4.4 or later version and have an ARM-based or Intel x86 processor.
How long can I keep my license for M365?
The agreement with Microsoft requires an active affiliation with Wayne State College. In other words you must be a current employee or active student enrolled in classes to be eligible for M365 Student Advantage through Wayne State College. You must also connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify that you are still eligible for the program. When you are no longer employed at Wayne State College, graduate or are not enrolled in class, you will lose your license and all access to M365. When the license expires, you will retain read-only access to Office files and will be able to purchase other consumer or commercial offers through Microsoft or can proceed to uninstall the software from your device.
I am an online student and don't come to campus. Am I still eligible to use M365?
Yes, you are eligible to use M365 as long as you are an active student enrolled in classes and you connect to the internet from somewhere, doesn't have to be on campus, using an active WSC email address/password every 30 days.
Will I have an M365 subscription over the Summer?
Returning students enrolled for a Fall class will have an M365 Student Advantage subscription over the Summer.
New students will have an M365 Student Advantage subscription after they enroll in classes.
Faculty members will have an M365 Student Advantage subscripion over the Summer if you have a contract pending for the Fall semester or if you have a Summer contract.
Staff will have an M365 Student Advantage subscription over the Summer.

How many devices can I install M365 on?
Each subscription license allows you to install M365 on up to five devices including computers, tablets and smartphones.
