About
Biological systems engineering, otherwise known as biosystems engineering, is a study that combines engineering science with biological and environmental science principles. At Wayne State College you’ll begin by developing a strong background in biology and the physical sciences. After two years, you’ll transfer to UNL and continue in more specialized courses. A degree in biosystems engineering can lead you to a wide variety of careers like food or water resources engineering, ecosystem development, biomedicine, or pollution management.
