Research Desk Help
Librarians are available at the Research Help Desk to help you find resources for homework assignments and research papers and to assist you with your citation work. Located at the main Circulation Desk, the Research Help Desk is staffed Monday through Thursday during the fall and spring semesters. If assistance is needed outside of desk hours Thursdays and Fridays or during the summer, a staff member can locate a librarian for you.
Spring and Fall Semester Research Desk Hours:
Monday through Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. to noon
Telephone assistance is available by calling 402-375-7258.
Reference by email is available at [email protected]. Email questions will be answered during standard office hours only (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday).
One-on-One appointments:

Research Tools and Tips Guide
Our Research Tools and Tips Guide provides guidance for researching online and in the library including information on how to use our DISCOVERY search to access physical and online sources as well as freely accessible resources such as Google Scholar. It also provides tips on how to start your research, information on how to create successful searches, and videos to help you understand and evaluate sources that you find. Additional information is provided on requesting materials from other libraries and using our ebook collections.
