Summer Music Camp at Wayne State College is June 24-27 in the Peterson Fine Arts Building.
Wayne State College will hold its Summer Music Camp Monday through Thursday, June 24-27, in the Peterson Fine Arts Building. This four-day event allows campers to have fun and make music while improving fundamental musical competency.
Campers can enjoy opportunities to learn new skills and hone existing ones while interacting with others who enjoy music.
Camp highlights include participation in band and choir ensembles; classes in ukulele, group drumming, conducting, improvisation, and piano; social activities; and private lessons. Last year’s campers shared these comments about their experience: “It’s the perfect place to take your music to the next level.” “It’s an awesome experience!” “It helped me grow my musical abilities.”
Camp fees are $325, including room and board, and $275 for commuting students. Participation is open to students who’ve completed grades 5-12. To register, visit www.wsc.edu/music-camp.
