The Juried Arts Show opens Wednesday, April 24, with a 4:30 p.m. reception in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery.
The Wayne State College Spring 2024 Juried Art Show opens Wednesday, April 24, with a 4:30 p.m. reception in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery, located on the main level of Conn Library. The opening reception is free and open to the public, and the exhibit will remain on display through the summer.
The Juried Art Show includes original artwork submitted by Wayne State Department of Art and Design students. Pieces are judged and selected by Camille Voorhees, printmaking and drawing instructor at Creighton University in Omaha.
The gallery is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday. It is closed Saturday. Shows end at noon on closing day.
