'Between the Lines' Premiere Set for Feb. 21 at Majestic Theatre

A movie written and produced by Shelby Hagerdon '21.

Wayne State College hosts the premiere of “Between the Lines” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Majestic Theatre. This is the first feature-length film written and produced by Shelby Hagerdon '21. The screening is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. A discussion with the cast and crew follows the film.

“Between the Lines” chronicles a young woman’s quest for a new life while caring for her traumatically brain-injured mother and coping with the past. The film was co-directed by Dr. Michael White, WSC associate professor of film. Ally Boyd '22, of Papillion served as director of photography. Hagerdon graduates in May with an MFA in film from Emerson College in Boston. She is also an animation producer at Made by Things in Columbus, Ohio.
