Shows and presentations featuring Apollo 11 will be led by planetarium director Dr. Todd Young.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 moon landing, the Fred G. Dale Planetarium at Wayne State College will present the planetarium show “Apollo 11: Man’s First Steps on the Moon” at 1, 2, 7, and 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.
Planetarium director Dr. Todd Young will present an interactive talk titled “One Small Step: Apollo 11 and the Future of Space Exploration.’’ The talk is for all ages and will be at 3 and 4 p.m. July 20 in the planetarium.
