Hundreds of new freshmen will be on campus the next few months for Wayne State College's annual New Student Registration program.
Wayne State College has started its annual New Student Registration (NSR) program for new students who are ready to enroll in classes for the Fall 2024 semester.
Various dates for the program run through Friday, Aug. 2, with fall semester classes beginning Monday, Aug. 19.
The purpose of the NSR program is to provide students with a smooth transition to college. All first-time freshmen are required to attend a NSR program in order to register for fall classes. Virtual dates are also available.
The program begins at 9 a.m. and concludes at approximately 3 p.m. Throughout the day, students can expect to meet an advisor and register for fall classes; hear from different speakers about academic preparedness, the billing and payment process, and services available at Wayne State; enjoy lunch; visit with staff from a variety of offices and departments; and meet other members of the Wayne State Class of 2028.
For more information, or to check available dates and register, visit the New Student Registration page.
Students who want to register but have a conflict with the available dates should call Wayne State’s Admissions Office at 402-375-7234.
