Past special game day events have included:
- Fighter jet fly over
- Parachute team
- Black Hawk helicopter landing
- Artillery cannons after each score
- Fireworks when team leaves locker room
Several tournaments and non-conference games are scheduled with other universities in the nine state region throughout the year
