Mary Ettel

Dr. Mary Ettel is a professor of chemistry at Wayne State College. She is one of the Charter members of WSC's Phi Kappa Phi. Before beginning at Wayne State in 1990, she was a research associate and visiting instructor at Utah State University.

She has been a member of the Nebraska Academy of Sciences (NAS) for 24 years, and serves as the Section Chair and Co-Editor of Proceedings of NAS. She has been a member of the American Chemical Society for 36 years and an associate of Sigma Xi for 31 years.

Academic Interests
Dr. Ettel's research interests include chemistry and art (materials and methods), novel applications of anodized surfaces, multi-nuclear NMR and polyphenolic metal complexes.
