About Dr. Benson
Since 1974, Dr. Benson has been employed at Wayne State College as a faculty member and Division Head, and he has held the position of Dean of the School of Business and Technology since 2002. Prior to a career in education, Dr. Benson worked in public accounting. From 2005 to 2012, Dr. Benson served on the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) Board of Commissioners and was active in securing Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) for the IACBE. In 2001, he received the Nebraska Society of CPAs Outstanding Accounting Educators Award, and in 2012 he was awarded the John L. Green Award for Excellence in Business Education.
