About Dr. Ras
Dr. Ras lived in the Netherlands until he graduated from high school. He then flew to the U.S. to be a student athlete at Wayne State College, a move he has never regretted.
For 18 years Dr. Ras was a professor in the Department of Business and Economics at Wayne State College. He taught finance, analytics, and occasionally international business. He became Dean of the School of Business and Technology in August 2023.
Before joining Wayne State as a faculty member, he worked as a CPA for five years in public accounting and seven years in industry.
